I have two camera straps sent to me by smugmug...I recall one was defective, and that's why they sent the second. But I still have both, and I don't recall which is the defective one.
One says "Smugmug Pro" and one just says Smugmug.
I am thinking it's the "Pro" one that's defective...right? |

| Mine says 'Smugmug Pro' - I haven't used it yet but I hadn't heard it was defective though. I guess I won't risk it now either! |

The replacement strap we were sent, with the heavier buckle gear, just says "Smugmug :)" on it (with the smiley). We don't have the original strap with us out here, but that's what the replacement looks like.

I've been using that one (Smugmug with just the smiley) for 1.5 years now and have been pretty rough with it. No problems at all.

To end the confusion, I looked on the dgrin site for the link to the announcement. Here it is:

You might want to read this if you have the old non "pro" strap.

| I got one of the Free Smugmug straps, and it's been sitting since I got it. Don't like it, in fact never had a camera hung on it. Now I guess I should see if it's a bad one or not. |
