...in my bicycle basket...and now there's an egg.
Basically, we tried most of the winter using different sprays to keep the pigeon off our balcony. In front of the door to our apartment there's a bicycle and a pigeon started making a nest. I told my wife maybe we should put the bicycle downstairs, but before we could a nest was made and an egg laid. I came home today and saw 2 pigeons and thought I would scare them off but the one didn't move and I saw the white little shell. I'm assuming it's the mother that stayed and didn't move an inch. I'm wondering what I should do...the last thing I want is for some poor bird to trip out of the basket for me to walk on when I come home or leave for work...any ideas? |

| Either a one egg omelette or pancakes. |

Personally, I would wait for the egg to hatch, the little one learns to fly and then clean off the basket when they are all gone.
But, I am a big hearted teddy bear :O)

| Every year a couple of pigeons make a nest on top of the window frame on the apartment above us ... but it slopes and the eggs always end up on the ground. |

| You ever play the egg toss game? or carry the egg on the spoon race? That little egg would work well for either. |

| Is there any way you can replace the basket, and leave the occupied one in roughly the same place? |

| I don't believe you! I've never seen a baby pigeon. They must hatch fully grown. LOL! |
