You are certainly blessed to be able to take these pictures. You also have a very good eye. These are great! |

Thanks tb , I am not sure how others see my shots . I take them for myself mostly , not to win, so to speak. But after I've looked at them long enough I begin to doubt wether thay are any good or not.
And I'm very thankful for where I live, and love to photograph it. |

those are some awsome shots. I wondered if you were a Montana guy, as the storm tooth photo reminded me of the mountains in the western part of the state. I visited Roberts (s. of Red Lodge) several times while my parents lived there, the country is beautiful!

beautiful work.
they are all good.. you have a very good knack for picking things out of a composition .. of the ones there, i tend to favor the pics that are sharp.
thanks for sharing!

Thanks Jubei,
I did the Ghost tree's using Local Equalization In Corel PhotoPaint, as described in the program-
The Local Equalization filter enhances the contrast near image edges and reveals details in both light and dark regions. It works in a fashion similar to the Auto Equalize filter; however, instead of using the entire image to construct the histogram, only neighboring pixels are used.
Its along the lines of producing a Solarized print , The original image was shot in extremely low light in BW with flash. I have been pushing this 602 to the limits of low light photography and its a hit and miss thing, partly due to the LCD viewfinder. I can never tell how sharp the focus will be until I download the image. This is really getting to be a sore issue with this camera. Seeing that you own a DSLR do you know what its limits are on low light photography???
