Practicing with my boom; camera on self-timer, 12 feet or so in the air. Uncropped, amazingly good alignment.

I have nothing to recycle and my laptop much too slow for playing with layers. I'll try to get out and take something new today. I am pleased to see the ongoing interest in the thread. Great! :)

I did it! I put my little Lumix on my monopod & went looking for shots. I'm about to try to figure out how to fly it on a helium baloon, for more height. I think this is the best of what I got, so far. Not everything looks good from a higher perspective, but this bird's-eye view seems to work OK. What do you think?

Naturally, I would have to include one good swampy critter shot in the S C. Ja9 was there when I shot this one. It was almost too dark to see what was going on in the viewfinder, and the animal was swimming very slowly toward us.
