Thanks, Waddy for the comment. I have come up with 2 versions - one exactly as I understood your suggestion and another - a variation I came up with.

I re-read your comment and was wrong again! I have 2 more versions to peruse:

The last one is desaturated, a bit less busy but it loses on vibrancy.

PS I could move this to a new thread on Individual Photograph Discussion but I think it could more educational to keep it here.

I think you should keep this going. Just keep posting, maybe SC can change the title to "Ongoing Photo Impressionism Side Challenge". Time was a premium this past month.
