My Canon 60D says that it requires a class 6 or higher memory card to record HD video. Can anyone tell me what class 6 correlates to in MB/s? some cards for instance list their class 10 as 16 MB/s while others have a 15 mb/s listed as class 4. yet class 4 is only required to have 4mb/s.
I'm trying to find the most reasonably priced 16gb card for my camera that has the required write speeds, the 4gb just inst cutting it anymore with 18mp 14bit raw files.

to answer my own question its appears that class 6 is 6mb/s.
new question. if i get a sandisk, 16gb class 4 rated at 15mb/s it should be fine if the camera manual species class 6. if the card says 15mb/s its 15 all the time, right?
