I'm having some trouble getting to the website for the last few days. Anyone else? I'm in US, on the west coast, near SF. Symptom: Pages partially load or don't load at all. Sometimes they will fill in with reloads. I get the same results on multiple computers and browsers, and have no problems with other sites when this is happening (it was like this for a few days back in November/December, too).
Note: first 2 post submissions failed. trying again... |

Uh, I was just about to post the identical question. Who's your ISP?

Yeah, I forgot to list that, didn't I? I have Comcast cable here. It's probably something with them, as I can get thru ok on the local free wifi (Google). Unfortunately, the signal is real weak at home. In the past, I had the same symptoms from my workplace at the time I had it at home, so maybe they used the same carrier/routes. It seems odd, though, that I only have trouble thru Comcast with this site (and dpcprints). |

Hey Chris... Comcast has been A-OK up here in Seattle. Might want to call Customer Service. |

Real-time Web Monitor. LA is one of top 10 cities in America for cyber attacks, as of this writing. But, looks like Macomb, IL is in worse shape.
My Internet experience has been much better since I started using OpenDNS and/or Google's Public DNS. In theory, if you are having trouble with navigating the Internet with your default ISP DNS, then try the public DNS.

I dunno why I asked. It's just odd that it's one site, ISP (I have no problem with my back-up dial-up account) and regional (we're both in the SFBA). I've had nothing but excellent service from Comcast, but now that they control the world...
