Hi,
I am trying to open files, apply some text and gaussian blur and save them again. However, it is important that the 'date created' stays the same. PS, though, changes it to the current date when I save. Is there a way to get around this?
I tried save, save as, and save for web, all giving me the same result.

Thanks for any help!

Interesting, as Save As and Save for Web this would be expected but not on a normal save.

Quick tip, if your doing a job that was all on one day, just change the pc clock to the desired date before firing up photoshop. You will have to disable time sync on newer os's especially when internet connected. If thats not good enough don't know what to tell you until a solution is found.
