Good evening Ladies and Gentleman!
Am a new member here, although have been "lurking" here for a little bit. Today I took the leap and got my very first dslr, Nikon D3100 kit with the 18-55mm VR and the 55-200mm VR lenses. Now I really really have the itch to take it out on a hike and jump in and start snapping away...my only concern here is that it's been so &$@)? cold here in Pa. Just concerned about condensation when going from a warm environment (car, house) to the bitter cold..is there any type of precaution I should take? Thanks |

Hey John,
When I return from shooting in the cold, I always leave my camera in the bag until it reaches ambient temperature (or close, anyway).
I've owned many cameras/lenses, and never had an issue with condensation doing it that way.
So... go shoooooot !!
Oh, and welcome aboard :) |

Thanks Roba,
Thanks for the advice! Appreciate it! Think I am going to put some Longjohns on and go take my camera for winters walk! |
