Fujifilm XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 OIS

My dad and I are in town looking for a camera for him. He can't decide between the Olympus Pen EPL1 and the E420. Any suggestions?

I have a non-DPC type friend who is somewhere between snapshot and serious, and i steered him to the PEN and he is in love with it. So that gets my vote :-)

Well after spending most of the day finding and comparing cameras at all the local Best Buys, he decided to go with the Pen. He got the all black with silver lining version and man does that thing look nice.

He got the Pen EPL1. He has been messing with it for a little while because it is too dark to shoot outside. (Stupid WI Winter) The art modes are actually pretty fun to use. He likes it and I'm just happy he made up his mind. :P
