Greece has surprised a lot of people and made it to the final of Euro2004. What do you think their chances are against Portugal, especially since they have already beat them in group play?
I think both teams have improved through the course of the tournament and it should be a good game. It would be interesting to see what Greece's FIFA placement would be if they won.

I think Greece has a real change though I would bet on Portugal this time. I agree with you that both team have imporved during the course but expecially Portugal.
Greece play is very disipline and I dont find it very much fun to look at their play. But they have fully earnd their situation and they might as well win as they did in the first mach. |

In the semi-final, the Czech's had their chances. They just couldn't find the net. Even Boras was putting it wide and high. All it took was a split second lapse in the defence that let Dellas through to score from the corner.
If the Portugese can keep their accuracy then I believe they will probably come out the winners, but you never know.

Portugese accuracy? Have we been watching the same tournament? ; )
The major weakness Portugal have IMO is their inability to consistantly hit the target. Some of their shooting is just wild hit it and hope stuff.
Portugal must be favourites, but Greece have been so impressive and so hard to beat that they're in with a helluva chance. I'll be cheering the underdogs as usual : )

If their accuracy in today's game is like that of the Czech's in the semi-final then Greece will win. Even though they have fewer chances at least they're on target.

Otto Rehhagel has brought the Greek team a long way in the last 3 years and I would be happy to see them win. They beat Portugal in the first game of the Championships, but somehow I think Portugal is going to take the title this evening.... |

I think Portugal is gonna win this game.3 to 1
They play better under pressure and they learned avaliabel lesson in the first game aginst Greek .Figo played very well in the last game, and now they are on fire on a homeground.
Then agian... Luck playes a big part..
Like Czech's luck, when they played with Germany!!!
And theyr unluck aginst Greek.. |
