Well, I didn't get a chance to shoot much in June and most of what I shot was mostly of poor quality.

I did work on these two last night, but wasn't really happy with them and ended up not submitting for June Free Study. Should I have?

I like the first one better I think. I really don't know how they would have fared: probably in the low 5's.

Any comments and/or suggestions are always greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hey bro. I really like the composition but somehow the water looks blah. Maybe this is one situation where Neat Image's plasticky look would have worked well. We need to move down south where the water is less blah.

Happy Canada Day fart knocker.

I wonder if you can play arioudn with curves to bring out the colour of the water more.

One thing I'd suggest when shhoting water - braket your shots, a lower exposure can often reveal colours in teh water the eye can't see.

Nice composition, as Jacko said.

I unfortunately didn't realise that yesterday was the last day of June - so I missed to submitt an image, I might upload a couple to my protfolio anyway..

You're right. Put it through Neat Image @ 70% and this is what I get... much better.
