Hey, does anyone know what kind of bird this is?
I cropped to get closer. My friend took this in Moose Falls at Yellowstone.

Looks like a Grebe to me. They have crests and sport pointed beaks. There are many varieties of Grebe, I am not expert on them.

ETA: Yeah, they have a "Grebe Lake" in Yellowstone so they are indigenous there I think.

Bear_Music, I thought it was a Grebe too, but couldn't find any examples with these colors (except for a grebe from Taiwan).
