Can I make that venus flytrap last until the end of the month?
Stay tuned!

Yes, still churning them out. This time, the twist is gradients
along with a little superimposing.

I just look and look at all these beautiful comps, stunned & admiring by what everyone is doing. I can't even find the words. |

Took some pictures of what I think are seed pods on an acacia tree.

Also, sometimes I like the intermediate stages of the edit -- for this one I decided to save the progressive edits for comparison.

If I get time, for tomorrow, I'll do a composite to complete the month. Meanwhile, I'll try to go out in a blaze of glory with this little Tail of a Little Venus.
once upon a time, a little comet was roaming the universe:
and found a party in a nearby galaxy. ...
After entering into a serious relationship it found itself with a new little companion!
Soon they were blissfully roaming the galaxy together...
Headed towards the ultimate Great-Comet-in-the-Sky. where they lived happily ever after.
All together, now. Awwwwwwwwwwwww.
:))

Besides changing rotation and blend modes, these are also great for playing around with color-shifts to create new shapes and moods ...

I can't compete with Alice's multi-generational saga, but nevertheless:
The breath of a long root,
the shy perimeter
of the unfolding rose,
the green, the altered leaf,
the oyster's weeping foot
and the incipient star
are part of what she is;
she wakes the ends of life.

These remind me of snowflakes/ice crystals -- very fractal-like -- and I like the colors. :-)
I can't post my latest two batches until after voting closes tomorrow, as they are derived from out-takes to my Clouds entry ...
