I don't think she gets that kind of credit :-\
However, idea is perfect. Why can't we actually write one, and someone compose the music for us :) |

Actually I am one for to create one, not "select" one. Why don't we start writing, and later one of us could compose it and put on youTube. |

But only if it's the Cake version of the song.....not the Gloria G. Version...what ever happened to her anyway? :-D |

what happened to the DPC Boom-de-yada? I can't even spell Boom-de-yada so don't ask me to search for it. I won't and you can't make me! |

At the risk of being stoned to death by a hoard of angry DPC'ers..
Am I the only person who finds that song to be musically awful?
I mean, this is DPC, the land of eye-candy and perfectionism, and that song would definitely get a 2 or a 3 vote for it's merit as music..
As a collaborative project, it looks like it was very fun, and there's certainly no shame in such a cool project, but I wouldn't even THINK of listening to that again. (twice in a lifetime is quite enough thank you.) |

I think you're missing the point. All those people from DPC, the photos, voices... even though the music and lyrics sucks, it's original and made only for DPC. It's like your 2 years old child's painting. It is horrible, but it's your child's, so it's the best painting in the world ;)
until someone comes up with a better one, I think it's awesome :) |

I totally didn't miss that point at all. Your statement is 100% how I feel about that song, unique, irreplaceable, genuine DPC, but it's still pretty awful. |

I agree. Imagine what I went through editing that thing for 8 or 9 hours. I barely escaped with my insanity.
We need something original, short, tolerable and catchy. ...or maybe the hats will suffice. |

I honestly weep for you... :)
FWIW, I think the editing was pretty damn good. |

LOL.. Definitely not. I think I might have had a nightmare where it appeared briefly though..
Then again, I listen to stuff like Basshunter, Lady Gaga, David Guetta, etc.. Ya know, stuff with super powerful hooks - so it's pretty hard to get something stuck in my head (as we speak Basshunter is trying to break my windows...) |

Maybe I'll try to throw down something killer sometime, but I don't even know where the heck my loops are anymore.
ETA: And having a job, relationship, and half a dozen serious hobbies really screw with trying to finish something like that.

Sung to the song; Lollypop
Water drop water drop
Let's see the water drop
Water drop water drop
Let's see it win, again.
