The lovers and haters are mostly canceling each other out at this point. Got a 10 late last night, followed by a 4 just a few minutes later. Got a fave as well.

This is on pace to be my lowest scoring image. Doesn't bother me, but just when I think it's bottomed out I take another look and it's lower still. I could have entered a perfectly safe bridge shot but decided to mix it up with an unconventional shot that is being justly rewarded with 4.x score.

There are a lot of creative shots in this one, as there should be, and it'll be interesting to see wether it's the safe ones or the boundary-pushers that resonated with voters.

Edit: And this is exactly why I post in these threads. So my score will drop further immediately after. Mission accomplished.

I'm guessing there will be a lot of female legs and high heels in the top 10. I think mine is a little different though. Maybe after the challenge ends you can tell me what category it fell into for yourself.

Pretty happy with the comments. It seems I may have achieved what I was hoping for and It is a much higher score then I was expecting.

I haven't had time to vote but can say that Steve's generalization may generally apply more to the male half of the voting population. Or not. But he's probably right about the eventual outcome.

I'm not sure about the top ten. I think many voters get tired of female legs with high heels after a couple of pictures and vote different.

I would call this entry a success, got the comments I was hoping for and it seems as though it hit the target audience and as a bonus it may finish above my average even if it is my lowest score in 7 entries.

Voter #200 apparently thinks mine is brown material, as they just slapped me with a 1. I would love to know why someone thinks it sucks that bad, especially when it's doing well with others, but I know that explanation isn't ever going to happen.

yeah...they just hit me too...I think they try to pad their own scores. That's the only thing I could think of.

Unfortunately, experience has shown that there isn't a thing anyone can do about it. Could always be a couple of folks who truly and honestly think our entries are that bad.
