To PTLParsons :

When you are at someone elses house and wish to post to the forums, simply click 'logout' (upper right hand corner) then 'login' again as you... Be sure to turn off the check to save a cookie when you log in so that the computer's owner won't accidentally log in as you.

I know this should have probably been a PM, but I thought they might be others that could benefit from hearing it...

It's a shame the members area didn't hold out a little longer - it was starting to look interesting.

Well, I don't need to photograph explicit nudity or violence and I never thought for second that I was limiting my photographic experience. I still consider my subject matter to be endless. It is a very closed mind that thinks it's only kitties, birdies and pretty flowers that remain if you don't take photos of nudity, violence, or other controversial themes.

The owners of this site have every right to draw a line somewhere when it comes to the content that they display on their site. I congratulate Drew and Langdon for caring about what the users think and the fact that they allowed a vote from the Council to determine what action to take. I mean no offense here when I say that if this site is too tame or too extreme for any of you nobody is twisting your arm to stay here and suffer. This is a private site and it is not necessarily a reflection of anything else, it is not obligated to have an 'anything goes' policy. If it is considered to be tame by someone's standards then that should be ok because it is only one source for photographic content.
