You must have one of the three decent shots in that challenge. Congrats! I'm probably in the minority but I find the limitations of the rules put forth mostly ho hum images. |

Congrats, kellmak10 and posthumous!
I voted on all the shots, and saw a few clear winners. |

Lower third for me. I'm good with that. I'm pretty impressed with the out of the camera imaginations of some! That goes for both challenges. |

Under expectations, I must say. 23 votes...5.0000
I like it, but the crowd says "Ah, whatever." |

My first entry in 8 months... low score love the image. I almost forgot the thrill.
However it appears that the formula for winning is pretty much the same old one, hehe...

I am in the OVER challenge but went to vote on UNDER. That was a mistake. I started giving VERY low scores to those who have really bad images (I know I know - minimal editing) but also for titles that I didn't think followed the challenge directions. It says to use a word like: under-something. So then I come across a great image that didn't use under-something. Sigh - why can't the directions be followed - it would make my voting so much easier! Guess I'm off to try to vote in OVER. |

Seems so very appropriate as I tend to be "underappreciated" often:

All I can really say is "ditto." I did give much more lenience due to the minimal editing ruleset, but that's no excuse for things like blurriness (and I'm not talking about the slightly missed focus shots that would have benefited from local sharpening.
That said, there were definitely some great shots, even one that got a favorite from me :) |

The Challenge description says: Take a photo and title it using a word or phrase beginning with "over" emphasis on phrase.... so any title with over/under starting the title meets the Challenges |

Yes, thats how i see it as well and 99% of the entries fit that.

Hey, there's often hundreds of good excuses for a nice bit of blur! (tastefully done, of course, so as not to offend the more delicate DPC sensibilities)
Anyway, i seem to be back to my usual standard after a run of high 5s and 6s...
