i have an idea to submit a public utility vehicle that can only found only in the Philippines... what do u think guyz, is this extraordinary and appropriate to the theme?

They are extraordinary and it does fit. But do yourself a favour and keep it to yourself cos it's not good form to let others know what your picture is.

Oh yeah, they still are... they're such a nuisance. They stop right in the middle of the road to load and unload passengers!

Last time I was on one (Subic Bay,PI) I had a local come running up and did everything in his power to snatch my watch. (I was stitting in the back) Sure hacked up my wrist in the process, but the little bugger didn't get my Seiko!

Better make sure your composition is extraordinary also. The only thing is that a lot of folks here don't know what jeepneys are but good luck!

LOL... Maybe for you guys... I'm currently in Croatia and there's nothing extraordinary about Yugos, still lot of them around. Actually, I drive one and it's pretty good (NOT)

Ok, it goes :)) and it's so small and maneuverable, you can park it in a very tight spot, so that's a good thing... I think :)

Edit: bad spelling

No offense intended Ivica.

Heck, ANY vehicle that runs and performs it's function as transportation is a winner. My daily driver is a 1986 Toyota Camry with over 242,000 miles on it. Darn thing just won't won't die!

(Also helps that my wife drives one too and I know where to get spare parts...)

(Ring, ring) Honey, My car won't start.
The neighbor says the distributor thingie is missing!

LOL

i believe they discontinued yugos cause they had the gas tank too far to the rear and if you got rear ended badly enough, the gas tanks tended to explode

edit: my mistake, that was the pinto, forgot why they discontinued the yugo

Maybe they did in the US, but I think it's still made in Serbia under a new name... 'Ciao' or something similar. But it still looks the same and yes, it's still a piece of crap :)
