It appears that new people are stopping in and saying hello on this forum. I am new, I just joined today. My name is Dianne, I live in Canton, Ohio. I have been looking at everyone's work and what a group of talented people. I'm hoping to have some fun and learn some new tricks as well as get to know some fellow photographers. I'm thrilled to get started. I want to do the "first entery challenge" so if anyone has a "first entry" photo I can "recreate" let me know. Thank you for your time and allowing me to introduce myself. I can't wait to get started!

I'd however suggest anyone's first entry but my own!

(Nutmeg is such a bore!)

I can certainly promise you that you will find plenty of useful information, there's tons to learn around here!

If you are a cheffy-type person, mine would be easy to recreate, and to do better with.



Take a lot of pepping up to score well, but if you have kitchen scissors, a garlic press, a cutting board and some garlic you got the essentials :-)

I went on from that to garner some acceptance, so bad starts aren't the end of the world :-)

Welcome to DPCLand, Dianne. Some folks here are a little strange, but harmless. When you get confused or disoriented, contact Slippy. Haha - just kidding. NEVER contact Slippy. It would violate his restraining order.

Canton, North Carolina (but, hey, it was named after Canton, OH, so that has got to count for something, right?)

Not planning on remaking my own first, though it wouldn't take much but a plant and a garden hose. (Though it was raining for my 1st entry)
