I would contact directly the manufacturers of the cameras you are interested in purchasing and see what they say.

If it's any help, you can always attach a slave sensor to a non-dedicated flash unit that you want to use.

I would check the manufacturer website, go straight to the source!

Have you checked out the Panasonic FZ10?

Love to buy Panasonic FZ10 but not in my budget, it is great camera.

I shoot with slave sensor but i guess not one of the best solution as i i dont think i have shot more than 1500-2000 snap in 2 years ( all were shot camera flash triggering slave flash) and my camera has stopped working i.e flash has stopped working

C-740 does not allow for a external flash, C-750 does and has a few other tricks. I've been debating between the C-750 and the minolta z2 (also takes an external flash) and I'm leaning towards the z2 because the image quality looks better. Let me know what you get and how you like it.

//www.steves-digicams.com/ has pretty good reviews from what I've seen.

My friend is a top line India's leading Fashion Photographer, recently his canon dslr had some problems and camera had gone for repair meanwhile he shot with c-750, and he found it really amazing.

I dont how good z2 is but strangely z1 is going very cheap, very cheap in region of 250-260$. I have a very limited budget, ideally 750 would be great.

I don't believe any one site has all the useful info one can use on a particular camera. There are many good camera review sites out there--I use them all when considering a new purchase, and then make a balanced decision.

The ones I use are:
megapixel.net (more of an e-zine format)
steves-digicams.com
dpreview.com
imaging-resource.com

Each site has its own strengths and weaknesses. But when considering the content from all of them, you can get a well-rounded idea of what you're looking at without actually handling it (a cursed phenomena of the digital age when shopping is done states away).

For actual purchases I always compare prices among these sites that I've done business with and trust:
newegg.com (more related to computer gear--but they have great prices on a modest selection of digital cameras)
bhphotovideo.com (the defacto standard of photography megastore, in my book)
buydig.com (a smaller store with OK service, but really great prices. I have done business with them and am satisfied with them--I did go in a skeptic, but they seem OK).

General...don't forget to read the forums on these camera review web sites as they will give you an even better idea as to the actual problems and strengths of the cameras you are considering.
