Very pleased with the positive direction this has taken (from a low of 5.6 at the end of Day 1). One comment has me scratching my head, but maybe the person does not have a lot of experience in photography....

Gonna miss mine as well, but it would push my precious shoehorn fly off my profile page, so I'm not unhappy to see it coming in within the 6.4 range.

I'm going on record as saying this was a poor challenge and many photographers did not embrace it. The voters didn't either. The top 40 or so photos were very, very well done. After that you're just as likely to get an insect macro as you are to get an actual tilted shot. Sorry.

Thank goodness for the "or so" qualifier, says Mr. 46th place -- who did try to make tilt integral to the artistic intent.

I do think there were many (but not all) images among those scoring higher than 5.4 (or so) that made good use of tilt and were well executed, and far fewer among those that scored lower. A little odd, since my voting and preferences often are more out of sync with the majority than that.
