many of you will see a bump in score... I fixed my scoring from last night.... my frustration came out in my scoring... i went back and re-scored.

i broke my trend in voting today and started voting early, for some reason. one thing that struck me was that quite a few of the tilts didnt add anything to the photos (in my opinion) and that they may have been just as well straight (they may have lost some resolution but i copied them into lightroom to see).
id question the use of tilt if its just to fit into a competition.
would people like me to comment to this effect if i felt this about their entries?

the reason i didnt do it automatically was cause i didnt know if my opinion would be weighted much as im only starting.

I've been leaving such comments if I feel it does not add anything. This challenge is one that is easy to meet the topic, but not as easy to apply it in a manner that enhances the image.

Some (not all) may discount the opinion of a new member, however keep in mind it is a great way of improving your own photography. By making yourself figure out why you do or don't like an entry, you'll learn things that you can apply to your own photography. So, comment away, and damn the torpedoes!
