Geez, I hate to tell you but that's a pretty backwards minded statement which handed Muslim haters...or Middle-East haters their argument on a silver platter. Fortunately you are not anti-homosexual a saving grace but to call it a "Western Concept" is... well, pretty near sighted. I'll go out on a limb here and say there probably have been gays in Jordan and the Middle-East since the very beginning of time...except in Iran...no gays there lolololol. |

ops, just to clarify , I meant modern concepts, example rights for gay marriage, or rights for adoption etc.. these concepts weren't really heard of up until the last century. I could understand that when I use the term "western" might be offensive but honestly every time I see Hillary Clinton on TV visiting some country shes like "Yea this country is good you guys are great but uhh you guys need to become democratic, and fix your human rights laws now!", what I mean is there's always a sense of we are "Holier than thou" attitude which is sometimes outright insulting.
And seriously there aren't any gay people in Iran whats wrong with you!!1 lol
