Would like to see challenges based on photos in our archives. Must use a photo you took in a specific year - could even be on a specific theme. ie photo must have been taken in 2004. or
2004 cemetaries. Most of us have loads of photos archived away and some of us just can't always run out and take photos of specific things at specific times and it gives us the chance to work on a photo that we may have squirreled away and forgotten about or never gotten around to edit that has potential.
Cheers

Sounds like a free study to me.
Step 1: bring down from attic old camera that was in existence during the required year
Step 2: blow dust off camera and try to remember how the thing works
Step 3: set date on camera to some time during the required year
Step 4: take, process and submit photo
Step 5: place old camera back in attic |

I like this idea, although I definitely couldn't go back further than 2004 as I have very little digital the year before that wasn't intended for eBay sales. Proof of original shouldn't be difficult, doubt I even knew about editing programs then, may be more difficult in ensuing years as I didn't care about keeping originals ;) |
