Fell quite a bit last night, but I'm still very happy with it.

Dropped a little overnight, but still doing well for something I felt was a chancy entry.

It would be impractical to expect it on DPC, but if an HDR challenge provided thumbnails to the exposures used for each entry, the voters would be able to appreciate the final image's dynamic range more.

It's not always apparent from a single image how it captures a radiance map with range larger than what the individual exposures do (unless the final result fits the stereotyped tonemapped HDR popped architectural / landscape images from tutorials;)

That said, I am still happy with my score:)

Not bad for me. If it goes back up a touch like it was I will add a new photo to my top 5

I think this would be good if the photog posted links to the images which made up the HDR in the comments area so after the challenge we could see the range. During voting it should be the final image that is rated, not the process of how it was achieved.

Well, Alex pointed out a really good HDR tutorial in the other HDR thread... As such, I see no reason to create an inferior shadow of this wonderful tutorial..

Back up to a 6. It'll probably flip-flop around here and taunt me for a while.

Great to finally break out of my rut with this image. A long week ahead, but currently my score would beat my current PB which is something that would REALLY lift my spirits. :) Plus one really amazing comment. I hope it holds up!

I can see how disappointed you are. If you'll let me know which one is yours, I'll make sure to slap a 1 on it. But only because you asked.
