Your other images that arent on DPC -
Im looking for free (or very inexpensive)
I use photobucket but their pop ups are annoying me. (I dont mind ads but 3 or 4 pop ups everytime i click a link)
If I edit a post... the link is no longer valid which is so weird....
and it seems that their site has been down a lot lately...
So I was curious...

I use Flickr. The free account gets you access to all the forums and groups, photos are limited to the most recent 200 uploads. If you upload more after that, the oldest ones are hidden. The pay account is $25 a year, so costs the same as a DPC membership. Unlimited uploads with that. |

I'm not sure about how its done but I am just about positive it can be done. I've never had cause to use that feature myself because anything important that needs password protecting goes on my smugmug site. (eta: smugmug does cost some money but its relatively inexpensive for the base account. If you get a referral code I believe the cost goes down goes down $5 ).

In a way. You can set an image to be viewable only by yourself, allow friends, family, or everyone to see it. If you restrict viewing you can generate a special url they call a "guest pass" that you can e-mail to someone which will allow them to see the images. |

I have two flickr accounts! I use it for personal work and fun stuff, than I have another flickr that I have nothing public and I upload files to store off line (I use a drobo for redundant harddrive space at home)
it's 25 bucks a year for unlimited storage files can be up to 15mb in size and you can set them up in sets, galleries and privatize them however you want. You can't beat that for the money and having ONE MORE spot to save things makes me feel a bit safer :)

There is a fairly active and helpful PaintShop Pro group on flickr if that helps to influence you more. I've gotten a lot out of that group. There is a tendency on DPC for people to assume you are using the full fledged, latest version Photoshop. |

I have used flickr, smugmug, zenfolio and pbase. All have free or inexpensive options while smugmug and zenfolio also offer "pro" options as well. |

You can also try Google Picasa, i find it fairly comfortable to upload and manage albums |

I use flickr for my web portfolio. Because it seems to be the most popular one, because I can plug it into facebook connect with Aperture and the flash album on my website www.photo.tehbendean.me can suck images directly from it so it makes organization super easy and I can manage everything right in Aperture.
