Well, I thought it was pretty good. I've been here long enough to know this does not suck this bad. I suspect some may not feel it meets the topic properly. If I eventually get some comments, that will tell me.

| I'm running at a personal low, so far. If it doesn't pick up I will have my first ever score below 4.00. But...and I suppose it just indicates strange taste...I still kinda like it! |

My score is certainly nothing special... mostly I'm interested to note a 1:3 ratio of votes to views. At 32 votes, I have 99 views.
I'm going to keep some faith in the notion that early scores are only loosely indicative of final scores, and things could change (hopefully for the better).
On a side note, it'd be interesting to have DPC's first challenge with a ribbon for a sub-6 photo. Ha. |

I am pretty sure that those people with high scores just aren't posting right now, since they see all of these low scores being posted. |

I figure this is a throw-away challenge. It's going to be so up and down, it just doesn't matter. It was interesting shoot for it, it'll be fun to see what does well, and what works and what doesn't work, but I'm not going to let the score bother me at all! :)

I'm slowly climbing, hopefully that's because people just didn't understand my work and dismissed it as a DNMC, but are appreciating it once they slow down and actually try to figure out what's going on.
I should have known not to make ANYthing look sharp :) That, and I suspect, despite the description, many of the early voters were punishing images that didn't look accidental, as though the word serendipitious has appeared in the description somewhere... >>>
Hopefully people will "get it", but if not, I still like it enough that it doesn't matter..
Besides, I knew a challenge that was focused on missed (bad?) shots was directly in contrast with DPC's normal rules of the road.. So I suspect this will be a bit of a crap shoot as well... |
