You're a very demonstrative member of the site Mehmet, with great flair and creativity. It's a healthy, inspirational thing and good to see around here.
However on a serious note, I have probably seen more of your face than any other recently - including mine - so please stop the self-portraits!! (JK) ;)
Thanks for the mention and I'm sure that others feel equally delighted when their own shots leave a lasting impression with others. I'm honoured. |

hey jon, i hear you.. do you think i like to take my pictures everyday (well i kinda do).. but seriously, if you think about it, i am avalable 24/7 and i pose just exactly as i want and i adjust the lighting just exactly as i want. it is too convenient to work with yourself. i tried getting others to take my poses. and i dont even trust that anymore. they move the camera. they dont lock focus. they dont press it half way to get focus. and it is impossible to tell them about manual focus all together, and i guess i am not a good director of models. i cant get them to pose as i want them to:) it is just way too easy for me to take pics of myself, good practice too. but promise i will try to cut down on the self stuff:) |

A great thankyou Mehmet, and you deserve all the praise you have received, I don't really bother much with favourites, I decided there were just too many great shots on here, but if I did you would be amongst them, I especially like your fun shots.
Keep it up mate and good luck.
Paul.

I knew you'd say this and I agree. I s'pose some of us are less aesthetic than others! When you have a raw material like mine you'd probably choose to shoot anything but!! :) |

LOL! From one impassioned brat to another, you're welcome! I mean 'brat' in the most affectionate way---even though I'm nearly 37 and somewhat past my 'what are you going to be when you grow-up' years, my mother still tells me that with my penchant for arguing (I prefer 'debate') I should have been a lawyer. If that was all there was to law, I'd consider it.

So your the person who emailed me....I think? I got an email from someone about 2 weeks ago asking me about this shot. I got a ton of virus alerts and deleted all of them and I think I deleted that email to, because I couldn't find it anywhere. I felt so bad. I almost posted a message on dpc, but decided not to.
Thanks for liking my photo. I must say that practice makes perfect and I see you understand that now. You have worked hard and it was fun seeing your progress. Congrats again on an awesome portrait!
