Judi - I am so sorry to hear of your accident, having had the pleasure of meeting yourself and Damion I know what strong characters you are and that strength will get you through this. I am sending you all the hugs I can and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Judi, I hope that you make a full and speedy recovery. Having recently been up to your neck of the woods, I came to appreciate the raw beauty of your part of the world, and came to better understand and appreciate your inspiration and skill... hope your able to get out and capturing it again very soon.

I had some brain surgery once, so I was fed through the MRI funnel once or twice - superb diagnostic equipment. A nurse spoke to me - or listened to me - the night before the operation, which was a very nice and smart thing for her to do. She may or may not have been thrown by my existential angst as I explained that my main worry was that I wouldn't still be me after I came round. I don't recall any specific response - I think she was just smart and professional and kind, but just so you know, Jude, I'm still me.
Coming second in a head-butting contest with a fence? Getting over that is neither simple nor straightforward, but you'll still be you, so we're all blessed. Good luck. |

Today is, I think, the MRI day for you.

OMG... just saw this, and devastated to hear the news :(
I honestly don't think I could pick just one image, but there's one that sure stands out in my mind: that giant panorama that you did for the gallery opening in Emerald. You were so thrilled! Hopefully that's one of the good memories that you can still connect to :)
You're as strong as they come. If anyone can make a full recovery, it's you. |

So, they say you may not be back to normal.
That's not a problem. I've never been normal, and I do okay. *grin*
I do pray that you get back to however normal you used to be. I can't imagine how scared you are.
was the first image I saw on DPC that I wished I were talented enough to take. |
