This is a higher contrast version of the my challenge submission. I edited that one after the submission deadline. I really like this outtake more than the one I submitted and I think it would've scored higher.

I've been having trouble recently choosing my shots well for challenges - my juju is weak! These are outtakes I could have used - could people please make suggestions as to which (if any) might have done better than the shot I entered, and why ->

Joe, I'm glad you chose the one you did.
The other seems a bit harsh or sharp to me.
Maybe I like my sunset/sunrise colors to be contemplative.
