I think this is a top shot. Definately desolation here. Maybe try a different angle. I would like to see what this looks like not in B&W. I think it still wouldve worked.

I like this shot a lot. It is certainly desolate. Strange the way the sky fades to black towards the top of the pic.

Great pic on its own merit. However, in regards to the challenge I personally dont think it fits that well. I was so taken by its eyes I didnt even realise it was in a box at first (I didnt see the title at first either).
FLIP SIDE: I know a good shot when I see it and Im lookin at it. Great to know it was taken with an A70. Dont get discouraged by the blindness and narrowmindedness of voters. Sometimes a shot that doesnt blindingly fit the challenge will excell while other times it will undoubtedly crash and burn. Thats my observation after about a month here.

Anyway keep up the good work.
