It's one of those images you cannot stop looking at. The overexposure doesn't do much for me here (I voted higher for pictures where the overexposure looks like it was on purpose rather than by accident), but the subject is so compelling that I gave it an 8.

My First Entry

I do feel a lot of sympathy since this is your first entry. My first impressions are:
1. It really meets the challenge. That makes it at least a 4 for me.
2. The composition is not particularly pleasant -- there is no element of interest where my eye is drawn to.
3. The image quality is not particularly high. Neither the tree nor the house is really in focus. It might have been interesting to focus on just one and make it really sharp.
