Food 25 - Coupe red, white and blueby hajekaComment: I have a rule that if you post pictures of food, you must send me some as you are making me hungry, and I do not have any Blueberries in the fridge!!
I would have been tempted here to crop this completely different, and would have tries a square crop for the image. I feel the space at the top does not add to the image, and that there is not enough space to the sides......... |

PaW 2010 Week 21by TerComment: Great to keep experimenting and trying a few different things. The attention to detail in the processing, the border etc does give this a more professional look. Shame the bear is looking out of the frame though, instead of into it, as it gives it a slightly unbalanced feel at the moment |

Hopefully Someday................by njsabsComment: Again, that backdrop is very good. Your composition is spot on again and you have created a brilliant ballet portrait that really should be hanging on her parents wall. |

Object of Our Affectionby caseyfaceComment: The shapes here, creating the imteresting patterns really does make this image. Also works so well with the colours here and the shaddows created by the lighting |

Swan Songby njsabsComment: Brilliant in B&W, really gives the image a different feel. Really like the background and how it does bring focus to the face. The positioning of her head right in the light area does work exceptionally well. Really good framing and a great overall image. |

Carpark Reflectionsby jomariComment: An interesting image. I would have waited until the people were out of the way to get the full effect from the row of cars. I like the bright colours of the early cars and having a complete row of bright cars then reflected off the wet ground would havemade a brilliant image |

Going Nowhereby bcenuComment: But why do you have to be.......the insistence of todays society that we should be always on the move and getting to some place, or building to something will sometimes conflict with Life.......We have one shot, and if you are happy where you are, why should you have to be going somewhere else..........
The image is simple......maybe it would have been better with a single boat, but then again, why can't there be a group of you in the same position...so in many ways, this symbolises 4 people that are going nowhere..........Reflections are good but the sky is what bothers me slightly.....some processing could have made it more menacing........Going nowhere although a storm is approaching.......or blue sky, going nowhere while the sun is shinning........in many ways, as even stronger message could have been put forward............... |

A Quiet Leaderby bcrantsComment: I am sure many have commented on the Haloing........I take it that it was intentional. While many will object to such a processing method, I think instead it is there to both make a statement and to overemphasize the subject. It does both.........In tying with the title, the halo does give a feel of leadership, of importance, like a lighting around someone who has presence when they walk into the room. You have, by processing, produced a symbolic way of showing that presence........As a result, you have made a statement which stands out amid the other entries........ |

Construction CITYby andrewtComment: Brilliant....Love the sky effects here are amazing. The framing with the building to the left is great here as is the bridge leading through the image....... |

Istanbulby spidermonkeyComment: The colours through the background here rocks..........However the buildings do look overexposed to me here. A great image though |
