Scratch My Belly?by vonautschComment: The interesting thing about all of these cat photos ( which I am personally enjoying very much in spite of the whiners) is that you can actually ascertain some cat personalities from them. This one looks like a real sweetie. Makes me miss mine. |

Flamingo on Nestby dr rickComment: Very interesting photo. Any reason it's not in color - given the natural coloring of the bird against the mud? I'm thinking the mud color was probably not rich enough. Just curious. Anyway, I like the picture very much and had no prior idea about where flamingos nested. |

Silence before night come overby InfinityComment: I really like the composition of this photo and the time of day/evening aspect. The picture and title evokes for me the sweetness of that "silence". The sky portion of the picture is very mottled or flat though and I have no suggestions because I'm new at this, get the same texture sometimes, and haven't figured out for myself how to avoid it or correct it. In spite of this I applaud your effort. |

Still trying to work it out???by ChezComment: Nice capture of this obviously photogenic subject. Your title provides the relevancy to the challenge and the clarity and texture of the portrait warrents a high score. It's a photo that I enjoy looking at even though I don't know the subject. |

Who Am I ?by gotomarksComment: This picture is wonderful! It makes questions in my head faster than raindrops and I definitely would hang it. The variety of white and grey tones give it great wash appeal I think but it comes out on my screen a little too flat. I do wish the skin of the man's arm was a little less in the direct sun. The face of the man is handsome, warm and invitational and makes me want to talk to himd. I am not that fond of the title but that's a minor consideration. I enjoy this photo very much. |

Wellspringby kostiaComment: This is the most creative and amazing shot in the challenge IMO and I can't wait to see how it was done. 10 |

Life Feeds On Lifeby ScottKComment: The more I looked at this, the more I liked the cropping. It captures the pause in the movement of the bird. The wingspan on these gulls when they are landing still amazes me -( I'm a "beachsider" in FL on the Atlantic so I see them all of the time) |

Welcome Home Baby Samuelby JackoComment: All babies are sweet and beautiful, of course, but this little guy is awesome. The textures you captured in this picture are so outstanding that I had to give this a 10. I am personally envious of the quality here and have not yet learned how to do it. I hope this is your baby. |

Running at full speed and lovin' it !by RichT8496Comment: I like everything about this picture. The great focus on the face of the dog, the wonderful capture of his motion, the movement from light on the bottom to dark on the top, the "human" partner in boots, and the title. It made me sit right up so I guess it has "wow" - at least for me. |
