"the waiting"by kundimansabuwanComment: Beautiful lighting and fine composition. Initially I thought the negative space was a bit excessive, but now I see that you are right. I'll need to up the vote a bit...;) |

Friends by MiepComment: Yes! I wouldn't want to change a thing. The colour scheme is stunning. My choice for blue. |

Sidewalk Beersby asheppComment: Assuming this is candid, I love the attitude of the guys! As a portrait - well... |

Me and Myselfby MortenBPComment: Good idea, adequate technical execution. Myself's intense stare has the feel of intentionally ignoring Me, though. I think it could have been a nice, unexpected twist, if Myself had been watching Me instead... |

no viable alternativesby kkzoliComment: Inspiring, I find myself interpreting what's going on, thanks to the gesture and expressions. I think a step or two to the left would have been beneficial, both to reduce the impact of the collar on the right guy, and to improve focus on the left one. |

Solicitudeby kiwinessComment: This would have been a very nice image, but for the highlighting of the noses. I find my attention drawn to them, unable to properly appreciate the rest... |

Mother and sonby friiskiwiComment: The crop is rather unconventional, to the point of no longer working. I could accept the top of his head gone, but cutting her face was unfortunate. A Freudian thing...? |

ahhhhhhhh (stretch)by greebraComment: The sunrays are interesting. However, I think you should have waited a couple of minutes, to let the sun set further, Maybe you'd have lost the rays, but the sky wouldn't be as blown out, perhaps with a nich red hue instead.
A bit of fill flash might have been good.
But if you wanted to stick with this, you could have done more in PP (provided you have the SW, of course). Adding some contrast with Curves springs to mind (to reduce the haze), followed by some tweaking with Shadows and Highlights, perhaps. |
