Sierra BUTTESby Chilly0999Comment: I'll pass on the same wise advice I was given once for a similar shot. If you're going to have trees in the foreground, then they shouldn't have an uneven appearance otherwise they become a bit distracting and divert the eyes of the viewer. Also it helps to have a bit of interest in the sky with some cloud formations (but unfrtunately mother nature doesn't always want to help us out there). Other than that it's a very fine shot |

Burrowing Owlby ruthiekComment: Great nature photo - but I think it would have looked better with a smaller depth of field, as the fence in the background is a bit distracting |

Boats in the Bayby timboydwhiteComment: Lovely shot - but I would have left out the reference to the boats in the title. Mainly because that was the first thing I looked for in the photo - but they're so small they're hard to make out |

The Bird(s) and The Bee(s)by GolferDDSComment: WOW - very clever capture for capturing both in a classic saying. Meets the challenge perfectly.
Only complaint, is that I assume you must have taken this with a telephoto lens? As there doesn't appear to be any depth to the photo. Both the bird and the nest look wafer thin for some reason, so I'm assuming it was telephoto that caused this |

Bloom in the rainby Crafty SueComment: Feel this is lacking focus or more likely blurry. Also the shot looks a little too grainy (not sure if you had the shutter speed too slow or ISO was too high?). I also wouldn't have trimmed the left edge of the flower off
Would have made a great capture apart from the lack of clarity |

blossomingby grigrigirlComment: Very clever - love the double entendre suggested by the title and it's beautifully shot as well |
