Checkmateby sbrandtComment: This one's a little dark on my monitor, so much so that it's a bit hard to see the chess squares. It could have looked even more chaotic, if a piece or two had been knocked over, or some of them weren't in their squares. Good attempt though at capturing the challenge |

Racing to the top!by kosmikkreeperComment: After sifting through 300 or so "snapshots", its nice to finally see an excellent piece of photographic work. Well done and a 10 from me. |

Split Personalityby johnmComment: If this one doesn't get a ribbon, I'll eat my hat !! This has to be the most original photo in this competition - almost perfectly executed, apart from the small misalignments on the side of the head and the lips. Apart from that, this gets a 10 from me on the WOW factor alone !! |

Goingby ArcyComment: Nice shot - but ditch the border. Unfortunately it detracts from the photo for me |

Foot Bridgeby OlyuziComment: There's a little too much water in this picture for my liking - maybe crop a little out at the bottom. Since you don't see the top of the trees, there's no real need to have their reflections in the water and I think it might have worked a bit better |

Morning in the cityby AFChrisComment: THe big black building to the left unfortunately overpowers this picture, which is a pity as there's much to look at and enjoy in this photo |

Roman Coliseumby TranquilComment: When you take a shot of something that's been a 1000 times before, you should try and make it your own. As such, there's nothing much to set this apart, and the clutter of the fences, fire hydrant, car and tourists detract from the shot. Its still a great shot though, but a new look at an old favourite could have added more interest |

Show Jumpingby PaulMdxComment: Probably cropped a little too close - I think this would have looked a bit better if the horses hooves and the girls head where still in the frame |
