I like the idea, but I think a deeper depth of field would have helped the entire feather to be in focus. 6

Love the photo, but it doesn't look like low-key lighting to me. Love the photo, though.

Argh. I typed a long comment in here just to have dpchallenge glitch on me and lose it all. Well, I'll try to recreate my comments. :-)

I'm not sure I see this as a "hidden treasure" The hidden part of it just isn't there for me. It must be a gem of a place to photograph, though. I think I would have preferred the sharpest focus to be on the church, rather than the fence. Overall the lighting seems a bit drab to me. I think some brightness/contrast work might have helped this pop a bit more. Also, I'm not sure what caused it... (usually I associate it with hdr), but there is a slight halo around the church and the tree. Was that from post processing? Overall, I like the angle, but I would definitely go back and try to catch it with some more dramatic lighting. 5

Technically, I love the shot. I don't catch it's inclusion in this challenge. If it fit the challenge better, I'd give it a higher score for sure. 5

I love the colors, but the tilted edge of the aquarium puts me off a bit. Perhaps a straighter shot would have helped. My only other complaint is the same complaint I have of my similar shots... the noisiness of the photo. I'm sure it's just a limitation of the camera, but it's still a complaint. :-) 5

I don't get this for this challenge. Also, I think a slightly tighter crop would have eliminated the tiny bit of grass I see in the bottom right-hand corner. I always like shots like this, though. I had a chance to shoot a (rather boring) sunset through some tall grass and it really made it pop. 5

I love the quality of this image, but I'm not crazy about the crop and the border. I also don't see the hidden treasure. I would love to give this a higher score, but I'm stuck on a 5. (my apologies, I know the quality of this image is much greater than a 5, I just don't get it in this challenge)

I don't really get this shot. It doesn't really fit the challenge to me. Also, the composition doesn't excite me. Perhaps if she were a bit off-center, it would pop more. Her skin is blown out a bit as well. You were obviously shooting in difficult lighting conditions. I don't know that I could remedy any of that, but that's what I see when I look at this photo. 5

Wow, I just realized how many mirrors were in this picture. At first glance, I didn't notice any mirrors. I'm not sure about the fit in this challenge, but it's definitely a photo-worthy spot. It seems to me that it could be a bit sharper. (I think this about alot of my own photos) I give it a 5.

You certainly did a great job of making this look authentic. I don't think it matches the challenge very well, though. Also, it kind of looks like the kid is on his cellphone. I like the look on his face. I'm sure you had a lot of fun shooting this.
