Bloom to Deadheadby PoobaComment: I'd like to see this cropped closer to the flower; there's a petal-less flower right behind it, so the one on the left isn't really necessary. Also the bottom of the flower is a bit OOF, as opposed to the top half of it, which could have been hidden with cropping the picture closer. |

buck with yearlingby fngood83Comment: Beautiful picture of the buck. Would've like the yearling to have been a little crisper. Probably wouldn't have cropped it so close to the yearling either. Still, that is a really beautiful picture of the buck. You should be proud of it. |

Squirrel Chowby swallaceComment: Wow, that squirrel went to town on that thing! I like the subjects and the idea. However, the lighting could be a little better; The front of the pine cone could use some more. And probably should've cloned out the little dusties at the bottom, too. |

Growing Lifeby peterComment: Cute idea. Too bad its a little OOF. I would've like to have seen this cropped a little closer to the subjects. and without the bandaid on the finger. |

Which Came First -- The Turtle or The Egg?by LydiaComment: That may be one of the cutest turtle pics I've ever seen. :) The detail and lighting on him is excellent. Part of me almost thinks he looks too good to be a real turtle. lol I would've liked to have seen the rest of the egg in the shot, though, and the lighting on the egg shells is off to me. The right side is very bright and the left side is kind of an off/splotchy color. It looks like pieces from two different eggs. |

Playing with Clayby phloverComment: An original approach, but it doesn't really do it for me.. Some areas are OOF and the reflection actually feels a little distracting. I do like the brightness of the colors though. It looks a little like the clay on the right is a giant, colorful clam that made all these colorful pearls around it. :) |

What came before, she watches afterby nzbayleysComment: This is a very beautiful photo. However, it doesn't say "Before and After" to me. Unless you think about it as she has been here before we came and will remain here after? No, it doesn't quite work for me.. Sorry. I would've rated this higher if it were a different challenge topic. |

No chickens were hurtby justamistereComment: I like the original take this has, but I almost feel like there's too much in this picture; It detracts away from the B&A subject (eggs). I would've liked this better if it were cropped/zoomed in closer to the eggs. I like the hatchet though; Its unexpected. You must have some kind of contempt for eggs. :) |

Burst by artvetComment: While I think this shot is neat (and probably took a lot of skill and shots to capture at just the right moment), it seems a little flat to me somehow. Maybe its the lighting? |
