Iceby bubeltrubelComment: I'd like to see less light on her left shoulder and more light on the pupils of her eyes to bring out her beautiful eyes |

Beauty and the Beast (Surviving Breast Cancer)by DeniseComment: As a breast cancer not yet survivor....I love this photo. There are a few things I'd change, though. I would have brought her chin a little forward and maybe supported her head in a way to avoid the pushing out of the skin on her right side of her face and putting her head more inline with her body. I would have tried this with an open eye too looking at the rose, or even the camera with a gentle look in her eyes. I'd also put a reflector to the left of the picture to lighten up the shadow under her chin and behind the flower.
I'm aware that this is will be voted low by people who will look at it in discomfort instead of with happiness that she is a survivor! If I could vote i'd give it a 7 for the reason mentioned above. |
