Twisted Sisterby robineggComment: Thanks, Jaded. I think it's clear by the voting this is not the kind of image that will do well here. It's my only photo that anyone made a "fave" and yet it is also my lowest scoring photo! LOL. I wanted to try and submit something edgier since my tame shots were really not doing very well. Oh well. I can't seem to figure DPC out. Will have to keep working harder for some magic shots! |

Silver Curlsby cassilda_terryComment: There is something quite calming about this photo. I really like the composition. I wish the loops were complete curves though, rather than having some sharp bends that are a little distracting when my eye wants to wander through the photo in more of a fluid way. |

The Hikerby Marc923Comment: For me, the entire image is transformed when you realize there is a person hidden in the patterns. Nice job. |

walado is gouning..by ytshuvaComment: Very creative and perfectly meets the challenge while still being a pleasing image based on the perspective and lines alone. Great job! |

Living Squareby GiorgioComment: I like this. It reminds me of a photograph I just saw at the Art Institute of Chicago with many, many square apartment fronts blown up to a large size. I think it could be even better if the roof and right side lines were straight. |

Finally... A Day Without Rainby robineggComment: Thanks for the comments. This was my first time posting to the site and I was not sure of the size - I was just trying to follow the rules and keep the image as high quality as possible but in the size limits.
If I had straightened the tower, the horizon would have been off. I'm not sure if the lighthouse leans a little or if it was my angle?
Thanks again for the comments. I look forward to submitting more pictures! |
