Nice composition but doesn't make me feel anything. I'm thinking it's perhaps because neither eye is in focus.

Background is too blown out for my taste. I think it might work better with a greater DOF so the nose is a little more in focus

Nice color, focus and composition. It has all the right elements but for some reason doesn't work for me. Perhaps because I'm slighty frightened when I look at that eye.
