Even now that I know, I can't see them - I'm not sure what I'd look for as my cue, all I see is a lot of black, gone a bit fuzzy at the edges.

Thanks for the comments - I wasn't sure whether to straighten the handle or the doorframe on this one.

I'm afraid the bracelet and the door handle are both mine, though; this one was staged. (It raised some unanswered questions locally, too: my neighbors gave me the 'what is she doing, anyway?' look.)

This is a good subject for this challenge, brings to mind lots of questions and tugs at the heartstrings. The photo being black and white makes it starker, which is also a nice touch. However - it's also awfully grainy. It looks more like a newspaper photo from some years back, in terms of image quality, than like a digital photo.

This is nicely shot - a very attractive photo with good focus and good composition. It didn't make me think of any questions, though. I suppose I could make some up (who are these girls? why are they here?) but the picture itself just didn't inspire me to them.

Ouch. This one really hits you in the gut. Nicely done. I like that you chose to take it on an angle. My eye doesn't quite know where to rest in this one, circling from the face to the arm to the bottle to the pills and back, but I think that was exactly the intent. The starkness of using black and white was a good choice for this subject, too.

I think this would have been strong enough without the title, maybe even more so - without the title leading me I suspect I'd have come up with more questions. Nicely shot, and well suited to the challenge.

*laughs* Definitely leaves some unanswered questions! I like the lines of this, and the way the curves are echoed literally by their shadows on the wall and less literally by the patterns in the wallpaper.
