I like this - very traditional, and amusing. I'd swear I see fibers from something like cotton, though - not sure if I'm imagining that or not, however.

I like the very vertical format on this one - it doesn't strongly convey heat to me, though. The sun glare is balanced pleasantly by the greenery at the bottom. I can believe that it's hot, it just wouldn't jump out at me as such without the title and the challenge topic.

Man, he looks comfortable. What a naturally beautiful location - and a nice crisp photograph of it also. I like the feel of the photograph, though I can't think of any more detailed comment on it than that.

Dry ice? I wouldn't expect the mist from regular ice, but it makes a nice effect. The lighting on this is also very attractive.

Brrr. A very artistic feel to this one, too, as though I am looking at some sort of bizarre sculpture. I wonder what this would look like with a more painterly/blurred effect, or in a more sharply vertical format to resemble a wall-hanging? I like it as it is, but it reminds me somewhat of some Japanese art - I'm not sure why - which is why the thoughts on format.

Very attractive - nice, cool colors, very crisp in the shadows. A bit washed-out as far as detail in the brightest areas, which is a bit of a pity, but a worthwhile tradeoff to get those hints of reflections even in the deep shadow.

*g* Very cute. Like the very low perspective on this one, the grit in the egg. Looks like it could have been cooked there, though the torn-up bit to the right side suggests it was moved - wonder if a slightly different angle could have hidden that without introducing other unwanted elements....

I love the cool colors/feeling of the background, especially contrasted with the warmer colors of the foreground. I could wish the focus felt more "crisp" on the body as well as the face, though.

Very cool (sorry, I had to pun). I like the effect of the fingers through the ice, the difference between the ice and the snow in the background. Please say you were careful to warm fingers up after each take on this one though! Makes mine ache just to think about it....

Good for a definite giggle, though the rounding on one side looks more pan-based than street-based. I've definitely met days that felt like this looks, though!
