Glinting satelliteby ayshihComment: Thanks for the comments! It honestly did not occur to me at the time that people would think of a meteor or a comet. Silly me! It was a 10-second exposure on a Canon EOS 20D, with a wide enough angle that the stars did not begin to streak. The high level of apparent grain, despite an original ISO of 400, was due to some drastic curves to bring out the relatively dark clouds; I was limited by the dynamic range because I was trying not to blow out the highlights of the Iridium flare. Thus, the effective ISO was probably more like 3200. |

The Great Escapeby shamelComment: I think this picture would have benefitted greatly from a perspective closer to the ground. |

Sunset slinkyby ayshihComment: For those who don't know: it's a small, rainbow-colored, plastic Slinky(r)! |

Fingerpaintingby leskatausComment: This photo seems too static... I would like to see some feeling of the act of painting, perhaps through motion blur. |

"I Look Fat!"by MarjoComment: Nice twist on the typical flower picture! I would have liked better lighting on the real flower. |

gus gusby betlogsComment: Very nice use of DoF as well as subjects. My only (minor) complaints are the fact that he/she touchs the left edge of the photo and that the shadows on the right are a bit distracting. |

Sagrada Familia, Barcelona Spain by JeansebComment: Wow, I like it! A very nice silhouette, and I like the effects of the sun rays and color gradient. However, looking at the edges of the objects, perhaps the photo was sharpened more than necessary? (unless that was how the camera gave it, then I guess you're stuck) |

Rusted Over Timeby JPRComment: I like the rich colors and simpleness of the subject. I find that the floating object on the right mars the otherwise silky(?) water surface. |
