Seems like there is a good underlying meaning here. However, the shot's composure doesn't seem adequate (fencing and brush are a little too distracting) and tehre is an unusual blue color cast.

This would indeed be hell in some people's books. Nice twist on the topic.

I definitely feel the pain, this is indeed a sort of hell. Nothing much artistic here and the photo's composition seems pretty much 'point and click.' Good idea, and the face is a nice touch, but too much competition here.

Color cast is a little distracting and I can't find any real focal point. A bit grainy (maybe for effect), and I just can't see "hell" in this.

Good message... this does convey some people's aspect of hell. Not quite what I was looking for. A little too commonplace and the colors don't suit the topic. Nice facial expression though.

Feels like hell in the foreground, and the stock exchange building adds another dimension to "hell." Great rawness and the bare trees add greatly to the effect. This is a mix of two human elements (and many subelements thereof) that clash, in a good way. It's almost like life doesn't give respect to death.

I like how some interpretations of hell are more concrete and "ordinary," if you can call it that. The dog pulls this image away from any possible cliche, as it really makes you realize there is a living element to a lot of hell. Depth and texture in the image don't distract from the subject here, but add effect and emphasis. Very good!

Nice use of black and white. Shower in the distance is a good catch.

Nice color, reflections, and a human effect here. Doesn't really give rise to any feelings of "hell" for me, but a good composition nonetheless.

Brings a strong meaning for me. Pretty simple but makes a statement.
