Silent Contemplationby HavokComment: I think I would have liked to have seen this with a little less contrasting and a few more gray hues thrown in there. It seems like an interesting picture, but because its so dark, its hard to figure it out. |

The artist hidden by the whiteby kaoshagsComment: I'm sure you're getting lots of comments saying that your portrait is blurry and out of focus, but I would just like to say that I really like this photo. I like the slight shadow on the wall, the simple colors, and i like the soft focus. Good luck. |

Shyby anirenoComment: I almost think you could do without the border since the picture seems to frame itself. Well done though. You have a photo that has taken a more creative approach to the "I am a photographer" portrait. I also like the choice of sepia tones for this image. |

ageby falveyComment: Its a wonderful portrait - very intense. The only things that kind of bother me are the DOF - i would like to see your eye in sharper focus, and the crop - I think maybe less of the nose should be included so that it is exactly half of your face. 8. |

getting ready for the self-portrait shootby miss parkerComment: At first I wasn't sure if I liked the large ammount of pure white background, but after coming back to your portrait I have decided that it is indeed a nice use of negative space. I also like the blue in your eyes because it is subtle and not so bright that it looks bad in contrast with the sepia (i think?) tones of the rest. 9 |

Little Old Me.by iconsueComment: Although I think you are very beautiful, I'm trying to be objective so that had no effect on the high score I gave you. I love the shadows, tones, and textures in your portrait. Good work. |

Anger Managementby ozdickComment: Although I think the contrast in the photo is a little too high, I can't help giving it a 10. I love it. You used the mirror/reflection method well, and conveyed so much more emotion than a lot of the entries in this challenge. |

Look Deeper.by GeocideComment: I keep going back and forth between 8 and 9 on this photo. I like it a lot. Its the eyes that really do it for me though - so determined. Nice work. |

cigarettes will kill you...by aimster702Comment: I went back to this one a few times before really deciding how to rate it. I've finally decided that this deserves a 10. I love the colors, the mood, and the way the red fills the negative space. Great job. |

Portrait by Meby JB707Comment: This seems a little too harshly contrasted. A few more grays slipped in there as opposed very light lights and very dark darks would probably make this portrait feel warmer. |
