Stone coldby tomzComment: Great shot - obviously brilliant patterns and texture, but also perfect DoF and nice muted colours. If I'm being nitpicky I'd prefer the tops of the cliffs to be a little underexposed to save a touch of highlight. |

into the lightby jamesfraterComment: Needs better focus - you lead the viewer's eye to the model but then when you get there the eye and face is out of focus, which lets this photograph down imho. |

Won't be to the taste of many of the DPC voters because it's dark and broody but to me it's fantastically evocative shot with subtle lighting and colours. It looks like a classical painting - well done (and if you're going for popular shots, unlucky!! :)) |

Couple of things though - the barbed wire in the foreground is distracting (I can imagine you were trying everything to shoot over it and still keep the road) and some of the colours are a bit washed out and may benefit from some boosting. |

Holy Waterby MAKComment: Great shot. I love the way you've brought out the colour but left a dark gothic feel about it, perfect for the church. One of those photos that could feel over processed but doesn't, despite the HDR feel. Great shot - passes the 'I'd hang this on my wall' test :) |
