A lot of nice primary colours here. The perspective view of the brick wall gives a slight slanted feel to the picture---the lines in the bricks run "downhill" from right to left. It might look better if you rotated the image so that the lines on the brick wall were running straight across the frame.

BTW, I don't get the tie in between the picture and the title/caption. What am I missing?

I like the viewpoint on this shot; it provides an interesting perspective. However, there is a bit of a colour cast from the florescent lighting (a yellow/green cast in the highlights in the floor and on the seat sides) that detracts from the image in my eyes. Have you tried a black and white conversion on this image?

I find the lighting a little harsh in this image. I also think the partially out of focus earthen area at the bottom of the frame also detracts from the image.

A nice action shot. You've nicely frozen the surfer, but I think it could have been even stronger if you could have used an even shorter shutter speed to freeze the water.
